Privacy Policy

Information you provide on this web site will only be used to process your orders and to identify you as a customer within our system. We may use your contact information to notify you if we have any questions about your order. We may also use your email address to notify you about our site, new items we carry, special offers or promotions or other information. We do not utilize any credit card information you provide or any related information other than to process and fulfill your order.

Shipping Policy

Please read the Shipping Section Carefully!

All items, except for apparel, will require 2nd Day or Next Day Air Service. If you are located in the Southern California area, your order will (usually) arrive the following day after shipping.

We typically ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and our standard shipping method is U.S.P.S. All orders are shipped Priority Mail and shipping charges are based on standard U.S.P.S mail rates (derived from package weight, size, and shipping distance). We ship to residential and business addresses only. We DO NOT ship to PO Boxes. We also ship to A.P.O. addresses via US Priority Mail.

If you require other shipping methods or times, you can opt for FedEx Standard or even FedEx Saturday delivery for an additional amount. Rates depend on package weight, size, and destination and fuel charges from FedEx.

RUSH ORDERS: Rush orders can be shipped on Thursday with Next Day Air Delivery or Saturday Delivery. Rush orders shipped on Friday must have Saturday Delivery. All rush orders will incur an additional $20 charge for shipping. Extra RUSH charges may apply depending on the order and schedule.

Delivery and Lead Time

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure packages are received. Daddy’s Gourmet Cookies is not responsible for damage due to unclaimed packages. If the recipients are not available to receive the package, Daddy’s Gourmet Cookies cannot be held responsible. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to either receive packages, or to notify recipients of delivery.

Cookie orders of less than ten (10) dozen are normally shipped within 48 hours of receiving your order. For orders greater than ten (10) dozen cookies, we ask that you provide three (3) days lead-time. Custom and/or Rush orders must be placed via phone and e-mail only. All orders will be followed up with an e-mail (or phone call if necessary) confirming your order, including a copy of our shipping policies. Orders will not be shipped without a receipt of payment, which is confirmation of your order.

Tracking and Insurance

Unfortunately, sometimes packages get lost or damaged. We do suggest you opt for insurance to guarantee your order arrives safe and undamaged. If you decide to use FedEx or UPS, you will automatically be provided a tracking number for the package. Using any of the USPS services, tracking and insurance is NOT automatically provided. If you wish to be able to track your package, please ask us to include TRACKING services in your order, and we will add these costs to your order prior to shipping.


Packages shipped without insurance means the customer accepts 100% of the risk if the package is lost, damaged or delayed. Daddy’s Gourmet Cookies will not be liable or obligated to replace or repair any portion of the order. The customer is responsible for filing all freight claims for any goods lost, damaged or delayed in transit. If you should receive damaged goods, please contact the shipping agent and address the damages directly with them. They will generally need to inspect the shipping containers to honor their insurance claim, so please be sure you follow all of their instructions carefully, as we cannot honor replacement requests for goods damaged in shipping without specific instructions from the shipping agent.

Hospital/College Notice

When delivering to colleges, hospitals or hotels, we guarantee delivery to the mailroom or receiving department of the college, hotel or hospital. It is then up to this department to deliver the package to the correct recipient. This may cause delays as the mailroom or receiving department does not guarantee delivery within a given period of time. Please consider this

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us within 24 hours of placing your original order with any changes or cancellation. For large orders over ten (10) dozen, please contact us within 48 hours to cancel or change the order. In either case, we will make every effort to cancel or change your order IF it has not shipped.

We are unable to accept cancellations or changes for Custom and Rush orders.
